- Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes natural self-healing.  It was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in 1922, and is administered by "laying on hands."  Simply stated, Rei is 'universal or spiritual wisdom,' and Ki is 'life energy.'  Reiki is a special kind of Ki that is guided by spiritual consciousness, and defined as spiritually guided life energy.  This meaningful interpretation of the word Reiki more closely describes the experience most people have of it - Reiki guiding itself with its own wisdom, rather than requiring the direction of the practitioner.
- Reiki works in harmony with all other kinds of treatment including medical and psychological care.  Nearly 800 hospitals in the U.S. offer Reiki as a form of Integrative Medicine and I have been fortunate to work as a Reiki Volunteer Practitioner at a hospital and cancer center for 5 years and more than 1,000 hours.
- While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion and does not conflict with religious beliefs.  I offer this serene physical, emotional, and spiritual Reiki Healing, Distance Healing, and Aura Clearing, all of which will aid in putting you into a state of harmony with your body, mind, and soul.

- Reiki is a holistic energy healing system that complements and supports all other healing therapies, including veterinary medicine.
- Animals readily understand and appreciate the vibrational frequency of Reiki.  They are masters of energetic integration and intuitively understand that we all exist on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels simultaneously.  With this understanding, they are naturals at accepting Reiki in their lives.
